am interested in how we perceive objects. How our perception of visual reality changes over time. From generation to generation, what we see when we observe an object will be different from how another time and another culture will see it.
I enjoy painting common objects which then become “paintings” which are seen as more valuable and somehow more important than the objects that are the subjects.
But the painting is still just another object.
